Basin Radio Club (EI2SBC) will be on air from Inishbofin Island
(EU-121,
WLOTA L-1870, WW Loc. IO43VO) for IOTA 2010 contest using the

EJ3Z, a Island Expedition/Multi-Op entry. On the days leading up
members
will be active using their own call signs on HF & VHF also watch
out
for EJ4GRC. Operators include EI9HX, EI4CF, EI6GGB, EI2EO, EI3HA,
EI6IB,

of the Barry Amateur Radio Society (BARS) are
staging a DXpedition
to Flatholm Island (EU-124, WLOTA L-0007) for 22-27
July 2010. They
will take part in the IOTA contest as GW8K. Before and

Strumble Head DX and Contest Group (SHDXCG) will
activate as MC0SHL
from the Welsh island of Ramsey [Ynys Dewi] (EU-124,

WFF GWFF-072) on 22-27 July 2010, including an entry in
the RSGB IOTA
Contest using the callsign MW9W. During the IOTA contest
MC0SHL will
still be QRV on 17 and 12 metres. They will be on the air

Rico (MRPR) will have a special event
station to commemorate 58th
anniversary of the Constitution of the
Commonwealth of Puerto Rico

PR006S, WLOTA L-2802] on 25 July 2010,
as a DXpedition style operation.
They will use the callsign WP4NPC on

150th Anniversary of Sile Lighthouse AWARD by TCSWAT
Between May 2010 and August 2010, TCSWAT in collaboration with Coastal
Safety
Administration and Municipality of Sile is going to activate the
historical
Sile Lighthouse for the 150th Anniversary. The dates for this
special
event station, TC150SLH, are as follows:
1. 1-9 May 2010 Opening
Ceremony Activity
2. 24-25 July 2010
3. 21-22 August 2010
International Lighthouse Lightship Weekend
Only one QSO from
previous activations from this Lighthouse,TC2SLH and
TC2LHS, count
for the award. To be eligible for the award, there must at
least one
QSO for every activity week/weekend.
- GOLDEN AWARD - In different
modes and/or bands, total of nine contacts
in three actvity periods.
-
SILVER AWARD - In different modes and/or bands, total of seven
contacts
in three actvity periods.
- BRONZE AWARD - In different modes and/or
bands, total of five contacts
in three actvity periods.
Same
rules apply to SWLs.
