We would like to say a BIG thank you to the organising committee and all the
volunteers who made WRTC 2010 a fantastic event for the rest of us. We left
Moscow today with the best impressions and WRTC-2010 will long live in our
memories.
Every aspect of the event surpassed our expectations and the bar has been
set very high for the future WRTCs.
Special thanks to our referee, Ivan YU1LA and the gang at location 201 that
besides taking good care of us were able to make us feel the true spirit of
ham radio. We will not forget Alexander (RA3RJL), Alexander (RN3RK),
Svetlana (R3R-023), Kristina (R3R-047), Oksana (R3R-041), Andrey (R3R-034),
Maxim (R3R-029), Yuliya.

I would like to add my comments on how much I enjoyed the WRTC event
in Russia. I was fortunate enough to have such gracious hosts Mike
RL3BM and his lovely wife Galina who treated me to a wonderful weekend
at their country home where I operated all 24 hours of the contest. It
is an experience I will always remember.
I also enjoyed the tour of Moscow and the Kremlin that was put on by
Reisburo WELT.
Congratulations to all the competitors and to the organizers and
volunteers who made WRTC 2010 such a success.

Howdy.
I really enjoyed this WRTC very much. In my case just listening to the action.
The amount of effort the organizing committee, volunteers and all people around
WRTC 2010 put to make the playing field the most leveled ever really paid off.
All the teams had the same signal levels on each of the five bands. It’s was
amazing to see that big improvement respect to previous WRTCs!
It simply IS the way WRTC should always be from now on!!!
Needless to say we all enjoyed watching thru R2AA web cam a whole lot!
Specially during the closing ceremony!!!
We had a blast even 10.000 miles away!
Harry UA3AUU not only is a top notch contester but a great presenter too!
K1ZZ’s speech during the trophy ceremony was simply great. I hope a DVD of this
WRTC will be made available for purchase at a later time.
You all made this WRTC simply amazing!

My dear contest friends,
Just come back from Moscow. Even did not make good job myself, I am very
proud being a part of this really wonderful event. It was great to meet all
of you there, to be part of fantastic competition, for sure the best ever,
and to come back with a lot of memorable moments.
Once again I want to thanks to Russian community for great effort and best
organized WRTC ever, from competition point of view, which made equalization
of station to be reality.

Приветствую всех участников рефлектора!
Трудно судить об организации всех позиций, это сделают те, в чьей
компетенции, но судя по тому как отозвались сами участники
соревнований и судья-мне и моим ребятам было очень приятно.Опытом,
насколько позволяло время, ребята-спотртсмены с нами делились и было
вдвойне приятно видеть как проявлялся интерес у детей. WRTC - это
действительно история. Несмотря на некоторые трудности я и все кто со
мной был остались очень довольны и передают организаторам этого
чемпионата спасибо.

судьи Rusty W6OAT, который был на всех 6-ти предыдущих WRTC, после
приезда с позиций обратно в отель. Словами этого не передать !!!

Fellow WRTC friends (organizers, volunteers, competitors, referees and
others)!
This was without comparison the BIGGEST Ham Radio occassion in my entire
life. Everything without any exception was of the highest possible class.
The Russian WRTC-2010 will for a long time most likely remain the standard
for many future championships!
Apart from the perfect organization of the games, I must say it was a
fantastic experience to personally meet all you nice contesters whom I have
worked on the bands for 30 years, but never had a chance to meet personally .
The Ham Radio community is a unique group of people, and the contest
community within this group is the absolutely best people I have ever met!
We might be stressed and non-personal when being in the middle of the
pile-ups, but during these four wonderful days and evenings, I have also met
so fantastic individuals, whom I know friendship will remain for the rest of
my life!
I can not wait until the next WRTC and hopefully I will have a chance to be
part of those games too, either as a participant, referee or support person .
The WRTC 2010 has inspired me to already plan for next championships one way
or another!
It was great meeting you all! Hope to see you soon on the bands or for
another eyeball QSO!
Thanks again to everyone, congratulations to the winners and all the other
teams! You all did fantastic job!

Dear Friends
I would like to express my best and deepest thanks to all organizers of
the WRTC2010 for the very enjoyable event.
More and more WRTC events are representing the Ham Radio Olympic Games.
On every WRTC new surprises and developments are showed to us.
The FIELD DAY style developed by our Russians friends is really an
addition to more equal conditions to all participants.
I would like to emphasize the extraordinay job done by the voluntaries.
Accordingly with the organizers 170 hams came from very long distances
to install 48 sites in 48 hours. Additionally, they provide to all the
competitors and referees a fraternal atmosphere transforming this
fantastic job also on a family event. Many of them brought their
families and, visiting some sites I easily notice the high level of
commitment and the good will to facilitate the task of competitors and
referees.
Externally to the tends the event also created an unique opportunity to
spend some time again with some old friends and also to meet some news
friends that we use to chat only by the radio.
Ham radio is in fact an exercise of friend relationship - The best in
the world!!
Thanks God for giving me the gift to attend all WRTCs.

K6XX and I arrived back safely in California Tuesday night, tired but
still glowing from the excitement of WRTC. Thanks to the organizers for
an outstanding job. You were great hosts and you ran an excellent
competition.
Is there a complete list of the rigs used by the competitors? I have the
document listing rigs to be imported into Russia but it does not include
any of the Russian competitors or changes that occurred during the
competition.

Игорь, огромное спасибо, за "сводничество" с этой шикарной "бандой". Я ни
разу даже не вякнул, что и сам чето умею, ну разве что ключик на 10
понадобился.
И втихаря VK7 на фоти подобрал SSB(и много чего еще), а уж какой они мне
мастер класс показали, ваще песня. Вот чего не зафотал....
Слов нет, одни положительные эмоции. Спасибище всем! Супер!

Wrtc people,
I am safe home and after few days I am still full of excitement for what
every single one of you made me live in such experience!!
Despite from a not a top score contest I had really a great experience as
human and as ham-radio.
I want to congratulate again the top scorers for their effort.
I have no words to say to describe in a correct way a just perfect
organization well conducted by Harry and his crew.
Every single details was taken in consideration to avoid difficulties.
Special part of my thoughts goes to the volunteers that really put us in
conditions as more comfortable as possible and we all must to them gratitude
because they are the material part of this incredible, amazing and exciting
experience.

Just wanted to say what a fantastic time we had at WRTC. It was better
than we could have imagined and so well organised. A tremendous effort
from all involved including of course the volunteers, the guys that
helped us in the field were excellent and nothing was too much
trouble, they showed great enthusiasm and commitment.
Having the chance to meet so many contesters that I've worked over the
years was very special. Also we made some new friends from around the
world with whom we look forward to staying in touch.
Hope to be part of the next WRTC in some capacity wherever it might be
Julie and I are now relaxing in St Petersburg for a few days before
continuing our journey to Norway and UK.
