Brazil, Football Land Award RULES The Liga de Amadores Brasileiros de Rádio Emissão – LABRE, in order to pay homage to Brazil through its most popular sport and also to football fans around the world, has created the "Brazil, Football Land Award ". QSOs for the "Brazil, Football Land Award" must be performed during the period of June 1st 2014 to July 30th 2014. All licensed Radio Amateurs and SWL may obtain the Award. Twenty-seven commemorative stations will be on the air in each of the twenty-six Brazilian States and the Federal District. Twelve ZX14 stations are called Key Stations and fifteen ZY14 stations are denominated Special Stations, as follows: Brazilian State Callsign Brazilian State Callsign Acre ZY14AC Pará ZY14PA Alagoas ZY14AL Paraná ZX14PR Amapá ZY14AP Pernambuco ZX14PE Amazonas ZX14AM Piauí ZY14PI Bahia ZX14BA Rio de Janeiro ZX14RJ Ceará ZX14CE Rio Grande do Norte ZX14RN Distrito Federal ZX14DF Rio Grande do Sul ZX14RS Espírito Santo ZY14ES Rondônia ZY14RO Goiás ZY14GO Roraima ZY14RR Maranhão ZY14MA Santa Catarina ZY14SC Mato Grosso ZX14MT São Paulo ZX14SP Mato Grosso do Sul ZY14MS Sergipe ZY14SE Minas Gerais ZX14MG Tocantins ZY14TO Paraíba ZY14PB The "Brazil, Football Land Award" will be awarded in 3 categories: Bronze, Silver and Gold, depending on the number of QSOs made with key stations, special stations and Brazilian regular stations, following the table below: Bronze Silver Gold 4 key stations (ZX14*) 8 key stations (ZX14*) 12 key stations (ZX14*) 5 special stations (ZY14*) 10special stations (ZY14*) 15special stations (ZY14*) 25 other Brazilian stations 50 other Brazilian stations 80 other Brazilian stations Any band/mode can be used, but not be valid contacts mediated by VoIP links (Echolink, IRLP, etc). The confirmation for contacts with stations ZX14* and ZY14* will be made through the logs of these stations. QSO confirmation with other Brazilian stations will be accepted per requester's own statement that QSOs were performed. Requests for the "Brazil, Football Land Award" will be accepted until December 31, 2014 (post office stamp date), and must be made through a report, containing the QSO data. Requests must be sent to: LABRE – Gerência de Diplomas Caixa Postal 4 70351-970 Brasília-DF BRAZIL There is a cost for mailing the "Brazil, Football Land Award" as below: Stations in the Americas: US$ 4 or 3 IRC Other stations: US$ 5 or 4 IRC The "Brazil, Football Land Award" is multicolored award, printed on A4-size paper. LABRE will confirm ZX14* and ZY14* QSOs via Bureau by means of a special QSL Card. For direct confirmation (via post office), the requester must send QSL cards to the address above, observing the following: Worldwide requests – except Brazil: SAE + $ 2 or 1 IRC for up to 3 QSL All QSOs with stations: ZX14* and ZY14* are valid for the WAB Worked All Brazil Award. No QSL is necessary to submit these contacts. WAB can be requested in full using only ZX14* and ZY14* or merged with other Brazilian stations QSOs, to achieve the necessary number of contacts.
