It makes things so much easier when we tally the results after October 15th. Remember the overall results will be published in the Jan/Feb 2012 issue of "The DX Magazine" and the world-wide results will be posted to the Web site around January 15th, 2012, as well. The breakdown by mode/Low Bands will be published in the Mar/Apr 2012 issue of the magazine." PLEASE NOTE: Carl adds, "South Sudan is not on the form this time. Although there was an operation from there this year (ST0R), it is not expected that the confirmations will be available before the October 15th deadline for it to be included in this survey. At this point in time, South Sudan will be considered to be 'WANTED' by everyone. Obviously it will be included on the survey next year."

PJ4, BONAIRE (Update). Excerpts from a bulletin (No. 2) put out by some members of the Provins ARC F6KOP team announce that the team will activate Bonaire (SA-006, WLOTA L1279) as PJ4C between January 12-23rd, 2012. The team originally was going to activate something possibly in Africa, Asia and Pacific, but after a few month of hard work, they had to cancel many of them for different reasons (mostly security related to the last events in the world). Also, some were just too expensive for their team. Finally, they chose to go to Bonaire (PJ4) because they found a place to accept all their equipment and operators. Thanks to the help of Peter, PJ4NX, everything has been organized very fast. Their goal will be 80,000 QSOs in 11 days, and maybe get the RTTY world record back. Operations will be on CW, SSB and RTTY, with as least 6 stations, 24 operators, and on the air 24 hours a day. The team members are experienced operators and include: Franck/F4AJQ (team leader), Peter/PJ4NX, Dave/K4SV, Gabriele/ I2VGW, Bill/N2WB, Nobert/DJ7JC, Heye/DJ9RR, Guenther/OE3GCU, Karl/ OE3JAG, Eric/ON7RN, Henri/F1HRE, Yann/F1NGP, Jimmy/F4DLM, Michel/F5EOT, John/F5VHQ, Jean-Luc/F6BIV, Alain/F6ENO, Joel/F6JMT, Jean-Paul/F8BJI, Bernard/F9IE, Rein/PA0R, Kenneth/OZ1IKY, Gerard/F2VX, Francis/F5QF and Tony/F8ATS.
