*** EDITOR'S STATUS: This week was little better. The immobilizer was
removed from my right leg and changed to a hinged brace (a lot
smaller and more comfortable). However, still have to use crutches
and can not put weight on the right leg. I got to see the knee at
the doctor's office and it looks good and healing well. I am learning
how to move around more on one leg, but it is still NOT EASY. I am
starting to get braver/better going up and down the stairs, but not
too often. Each day seems to get better. Thanks to the many well
     wishers.... 73 de Tedd KB8NW
