5W, WESTERN SAMOA, OC-097
 W7GJ plans to work on 6m via EME signing 5W0GJ from Western Samoa from
 Aug 23-31. QSL via homecall.

7P, LESOTHO
 EI7CC will be active as 7P8PB during his holidays from Aug 18-30.
 QSL via homecall and the log will be uploaded to the LoTW also.

A3, TONGA, OC-169
 Craig,KI0SO, is working as A35CT mainly in SSB on 20m-6m from Lifuka
 in the IOTA group Ha'apai (OC-169, Loc AH20te). He is using an Elecraft
 K3, a Yaesu FT-450 with Force-12 C3 antenna and a M2 6m antenna.
 Craig has been spotted on 20m SSB from 0830-1030 UTC. The length of
 his stay is not known. QSL via CBA an KI0SO (with some delay).

DL, GERMANY
 A few HAM will test several monoband verticals (80m-10m) as DL0M using
 large kites flying up to 100m high. Listen for DL0M in CW, SSB and
 digital modes on Aug 20/21.

E5, SOUTH COOK ISLANDS, OC-013
 Bruce,ZL1AAO, plans to show up from Rarotonga (OC-013) signing E51AAO
 on the HF bands from Aug 19-28, besides his touristical activities.
 QSL via homecall, the log will be uploaded to eQSL and LoTW as well.

 Andy,AB7FS (E51AND/ZK1AND/ZK2AND), and his XYL Kathy,KB7SCH (ZK1SCH),
 are working from Arorangi Beach on Rarotonga (OC-013) between Aug 15
 and Sep 3. Andy is a member of the Straight Key Century Club (#7723)
 and planst CW around 14050 kHz listening especially for SKCC members.
 This is NOT a DXpedition, only holiday with some amateur radio. A good
 time for skeds is the ANZA DX net on 14183 kHz, daily around 0515 UTC.

 Members of the Otley Amateur Radio Society will activate the special
 event station GB0YAA to support the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Charity
 on Aug 20/21. QSL via bureau.

GU, GUERNSEY, EU-114
 A large group of the Telford and District Amateur Society will be QRV
 as GP3ZME/p from Guernsey (EU-114) from Aug 19-24. Operations will take
 place on 80m-2m and the SHF bands. QSL via G3ZME.

KH5, JARVIS ISLAND, OC-081
 The DXpedition to Jarvis was postponed again to November/December 2012.

PJ2, CURACAO ISLAND, SA-099
 Anja,PJ2/DH2AK, and Torsten,PJ2/DL1THM, will be active "holiday style"
 from Curacao mainly in SSB on 20m between Aug 21 and Sep 8.

PJ7, SINT MAARTEN, NA-105
 Isao,JH1ROJ/KG8XV, plans to be QRV as PJ7ROJ from Sint Maarten (NA-105)
 in CW and SSB on all bands from Aug 18-25. He has a FT-450, a 500w PA,
 a HF6V and a 2-ele-yagi for the high bands. Isao will listen especially
 for JA and Asia on the high bands. QSL via his homecalls.
 The log will be uploaded to the LoTW after the operation.

PY, BRAZIL, SA-045
 Orlando,PT2OP, will sign PQ8OP and Fred,PY2XB, will sign PQ8XB from the
 Parazinho Biological Reserve on the Bailique archipelago (SA-045). They
 will activate the island in SSB, CW and digital modes on 40m-10m from
 Aug 17-24. They have also equipment for 6m and will listen for band
 openings there. QSLs for PQ8OP via PT2OP and PQ8XB via PT7WA.

RI1, FRANZ JOSEF LAND, EU-019
 Andrey,RI1FJA (RA3MD), and Victor Ivanov,RI1FJM, started their over-
 winterung on Heyss Island on Franz Josef Land in early August. Andrey
 can be found on the bands using his SteppIR yagi while Victor wants to
 focus on the EME business. Both OMs will stay until September 2012.
 QSLs for both calls unfortunately only direct via RX3MM.

S7, SEYCHELLES, AF-024
 Dieter,DL5RDO, and family will spend their holidays on the Seychelles
 from Aug 21 until Sep 6. He will be active as S79DO from La Digue until
 Sep 2 and after that from the main island Mahe (both IOTA AF-024).
 QSL via homecall anf the log will be uploaded to the LoTW.
 His equipment includes a K2/100 and a vertical. Dieter will work mainly
 in CW and some SSB on 40m/30m/20m/15m/10m. Note: On the Seychelles the
 40m band starts only at 7050 kHz so his CW operation can be expected
 around 7055 kHz.

ST0, SOUTH SUDAN
 The DXpedition ST0R is history. They have set-up a new world record in
 RTTY for the first activation of a new DXCC. The DXpedition has logged
 121.286 QSO with 27.994 different callsigns in 176 DXCC entities and
 all CQ zones. For the friends of statistics:
 CW: 55.458 QSOs, SSB 47.696 QSOs and RTTY: 18.132 QSOs.

T32, EASTERN KIRIBATI, OC-024
 Giovanni,I5JHW, will show up as T32JB wotking in SSB, CW and RTTY from
 the Captain Cook Hotel on Kiritimati (OC-024, Christmas Island) from
 Aug 17-24. QSL via I5JHW. See also: http://i5jhw.weebly.com

TK, CORSICA, EU-014
 Lee,F5MUX, will be QRV again as TK5UX working mainly in CW on HF from
 Corsica (IOTA EU-014, DIFM TK-001, MIA MCO-001, WLOTA 1390) between
 Aug 20 and Sep 3. Every QSO will be confirmed via eQSL.
 QSL via F5MUX, via bureau preferred.

VP8/A, ANTARCTICA, AN-016
 Brian,VK0BFG, will leave Casey Station by the end of December 2011. He
 can be found on 40m on saturday/sunday afternoons on 7095 kHz usually.
 His radio is an Alinco DX70 with Ameritron AL811 and an Inverted-V
 dipole. The center of his dipole is about 100 meter high.

ZA, ALBANIA
 Ignatius,ZA/IW7DZJ, is working on HF until Aug 22 and plans to activate
 some lighthouses as well. QSL via IW7DZJ.

ZL, NEW ZEALAND
 Paul,ZL4PW, will activate the special callsign ZL4RUGBY from Aug 19
 until Oct 31 to mark the Rugby World Cup. QSL via ZL4PW.
 The log will be uploaded to the LoTW as well.

DXCC: Since July 25 the DXCC award is not issued in RTTY anymore. It is
 replaced by the DXCC Digital.

14th International Lighthouse/Lightship Weekend (ILLW): Not less than 420
 stations announced to join the upcoming ILLW on Aug 20/21 or hand out
