** DXpedition to Issyk Kul Lake (EX6EME, MN82) **
Dear 6m EMErs, Subject to arrival of our power amplifier from M2 this
week looks like we will be going to Issyk Kul, Kyrgyzstan this Saturday,
August 7. Certainly we will make final announcement if we go or don't
but at this point I just want to lay some basic rules and share some
basic info about the trip in this semi-final announcement: While
operating from the Issyk-Kul lake QTH we will use the following
procedures: Operation. We will be QRV from August 7 to August 14 the
whole week. Callsigns. We will EX6EME callsign. Operators: Mike (UN8GC /
KZ1R) and Oleg (EX8MLT). If we exhaust all correspondents, we may
operate as EX8MLT and EX/KZ1R callsigns. Grid. MN82re at all times....

** TF3CY QRV 9-13th August on 6m EmE **
Hi there I'm going to be QRV from 9th to 13th of August on 6m EmE during
the moonset. Looks like a lot of activity on the moon this few days ;) I
will be somewhere close to HP94AD square, semi-portable. I will only be
able to work moonset as I will be on the SW side of Iceland. The
original plan was to be on the south most edge of Iceland, thus both
working moonrise and moonset, but I'm just returning from summer
vacation and could not get the extra days off work going on a trip to
the south cost. Please email me if you want to try to work me, I will be
active on the ON4KST chat I must warn that I'm very new in EmE - so
don't expect anything but trouble! ;) but I managed to make two QSO in
the last window - and I'm now building on that experience. I will have
600W , and a 10el yagi on a 8m mast, more info and pics on www.tf3cy.is
I can only keep the antenna up if the weather is reasonably calm - I
will post if I have to postpone. 73 de TF3CY Benedikt Sveinsson.
