K7RE - Brian - 12-26-2009 to 12-27-2009 - SSB, CW and Digital Please note that the South Dakota QSO Party is to be held on 26 December 2009. The new rules are at: www.w0blk.org/files/qsoparty.htm . The current selection for the SD QSO Party on most Web Sites do not reflect the current rules. Of course, please let me know what ever you may need to complete the update. Please post in as many places as you deem necessary to get the word out. [County Hunter Web]
K7RE - Brian - 12-26-2009 to 12-27-2009 - CW and Data - ECC accepted I will be mobile /R for the upcoming South Dakota QSO Party (SDQP) to be held on 12-26-2009. Please see http://www.w0blk.org/files/qsoparty.htm for all details concerning SDQP. I will probably be using CW exclusively just below the usual CHN frequencies. Probably mostly on 20M. I will be driving through the following SD counties, east to west, beginning at about 0800 CST, or 1400 UTC: Spink Faulk Hand Potter Dewey Ziebach Perkins Meade Butte Lawrence As Lawrence is my home county, I intend to operate from my fixed station in this county until the end of the SDQP, with time off to sleep etc. I will be on the CW and Digital modes, no SSB. The digital mode will consist on mainly PSK31 on 20M, around 14.073, slightly above the other PSK signals on that band. When 20 dies, I plan on being on 40 and 80M, at the standard PSK calling frequencies. This is probably your last chance to get these rare counties into your logbook for 2009. As mentioned on the Web Site, we intend to have another SDQP in the Spring Summer 2010 time frame, so as to allow many more mobiles to get on and give out SD counties. QSL via home call.
